After completing the case study with
x-rays, diagnostic models, and any additional assessments deemed necessary by
your treating dentist, special sockets are created in the bone at predetermined
positions, into which the implants are securely positioned.
Typically, there is
a healing period of 3-5 months before the final teeth are placed. However, in
cases where the quality and quantity of the bone permit, immediate temporary
teeth can be placed on the day of the surgery. This technique is known as Immediate
Loading and follows the Teeth-in-a-Day protocol.
If your case is suitable for
Immediate Loading techniques, this option will be discussed with you during
your thorough clinical examination at our practice.
